National Parks & Wild Life Sanctuary in Meghalaya

  • Trekking in Meghalaya :- The beautiful hill slopes of Meghalaya are ideal for trekking. Trekking between villages of colorful hill tribes is also very interesting.
  • Balpakram National Park :- Balpakram, which has been, declared a National Park since 1987 is the land of scenic beauty, lying at an altitude of nearly 3,000 ft. above sea level, covering an area of 200sq. kms.
  • Nokrek National Park :- Nokrek Biosphere Reserve is located in the Garo Hills district 2 kms from Tura Peak. The reserve is one of the least disturbed forest tracts of the sub-himalayan ranges.
